Crypto bull markets are a good time.  There will be some incredible opportunities, and some good laughs too.

Here are a few tips to help you take advantage of the bull market:

  1. Overconfidence will be everywhere - When the market gets going most people will be overconfident…when this happens start keeping your eye on the door if you’re not investing long term

  1. It’s a hilarious good time - People do stupid things in the bull market.  A lot of this lives on X / Twitter and Reddit.  The memes will be flying

  1. There will be flash crashes - It’s not uncommon for crypto assets to quickly crash down then come right back up during bull runs.  You may be able to profit from these using limit orders

  1. Some investors will get chopped up - Try not to buy assets that just went up a lot, and then sell it when it dips.  This is called getting chopped up.  It's better to just buy and hold until the end of the cycle, or long term

  1. Try to avoid going on tilt - Almost all people are vulnerable to this.  Emotions get high causing people to accidentally make poor decisions.  Try to be metric and process oriented

  1. Try to avoid using leverage - This asset class is hyper volatile.  It’s easy to lose everything if you use leverage.  Leverage ads a lot of risk

  1. There is no shame in taking profits early - If you’re fortunate enough to make good profits, don’t be afraid to take profits too early

  1. There will be opportunities for life changing returns - The very best returns come from buying before the bull run when no one is paying attention to crypto.  During a bull run…you can still buy the dips
